The Changwon LG Sakers are a professional basketball team based in Changwon, South Korea. They compete in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) and are owned by LG Corporation. Founded in 1994, the team plays home games at Changwon Gymnasium.
In the 2024–25 season, the Sakers made history by winning their first-ever KBL championship, defeating the Seoul SK Knights in a thrilling 7-game series. Led by coach Cho Sang-hyun and star players Assem Marei and Heo Il-young, the team also qualified for the 2025–26 East Asia Super League (EASL).
Known for their strong defense and loyal fanbase, the Sakers are now one of the top teams in Korean basketball.
