The Goyang Sono Skygunners, staged at Goyang Gymnasium, is a rebranded KBL whose team name used to be Orions. They (2002, 2016) won two titles of KBL Championship and began a new step in 2023 with new owner Sono International. Judging by the coach Kim Seung-gi and coached by the newly appointed Park Chan-hee, the 2024-25 season roster is to include up-and-comers D.J. Burns Jr. and Kevin Quiambao, combining international strength with mixed fleets throughout history and achievement. Skygunners are ready to leave their mark in the next history of Korean basketball.
