Despite their early dominance, the Flying Titans faced a spirited comeback from Farm Fresh. Trisha Tubu, the standout for the Foxies with an incredible 31-point effort, capitalized on Choco Mucho's errors to lead Farm Fresh to a Set 3 victory, 25-21. The drama continued into Set 4, where back-to-back errors by Choco Mucho allowed Farm Fresh to knot the score at 2-2 after an intense 27-25 finish.
In the decisive fifth set, Rondina once again rose to the occasion, propelling Choco Mucho to a commanding 13-8 lead with consecutive kills. Despite a late surge from Farm Fresh, including a pair of aces by xx Larroza, Choco Mucho sealed the win, 15-12, after a net violation from Farm Fresh’s Caitlyn Viray.
Choco Mucho coach Dante Alinsunurin expressed relief and gratitude for the hard-fought victory. "Happy kami sa panalo namin, kahit na alam namin na may mga bagay kaming kulang," he said, emphasizing the team's unity and resilience against a tough opponent.
Earlier in the day, Creamline faced a significant challenge from the determined Zus Coffee squad. The Cool Smashers, who entered the match unbeaten, saw their dominance tested as the Thunderbelles forced a five-set thriller.
Led by Alyssa Valdez and Bernadeth Pons with 17 points each, Creamline used their powerful attacks and clutch plays to claim a narrow 15-13 victory in the fifth set. The Cool Smashers leveraged their offensive depth, with Jema Galanza and Michele Gumabao also contributing double-digit scores.
