The PBA reminds basketball fans of the Season 49 Governor’s Cup finals that are set to showcase Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and TNT Tropang Giga. A Long-Standing Friendship and Coaching Rivalry

Cone and Reyes have known each other before Zubov’s arrival or even the formation of the PBA in the early 90s. Cone, an American-born tactician famed for his Triangle Offense also appreciated a young Reyes, who equally shared the passion in basketball. With Cone as his coach, Reyes sharpened his abilities and the flavor of his coaching compass – severe and iron-hard when it comes to defense – incredibly versatile when handling his players.
